she leans on whitewashed walls
dripping tears of every hue
her skin is in patches of green and blue
like the sofa in the living room
she can't even stand straight
her vision's a blurry red
how could a man she knew so well
turn out to be living hell?
as the world fades to darkness
she finally sees --
black and white,
they really weren't meant to be.
